ACP Magazines announces launch of Your Body

October 09

ACP Magazines today announced the launch of Your BODY, a new health and fitness magazine for women seeking a happier and healthier life.
This one-shot magazine, on-newstands from October 12, 2009 is an inspiring resource for health-conscious women.

Your BODY is presented in an upmarket and luxury format. The new magazine is targeted at time-poor women in their late 20s to early 40s, and aims to provide a manual that puts readers in full control of their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Elizabeth Renkert, Editor, Your BODY, said: "This glossy magazine will be like nothing currently on the newsstands. With a paper stock of 80gsm and a print run target of 60,000, content will include food and nutrition, sex and relationships, mental health, travel, fitness and beauty."

"With workout routines, advice on nutrition and a session with a life coach, this magazine will provide fantastic value in these difficult economic times. Let’s call it a gym in your handbag!"

Following the success of 30 Days of Health & Wellbeing and positive reaction from advertisers, the launch corresponds with ACP Magazines’ ongoing commitment to health and wellbeing across its magazine portfolio. Other titles at ACP Magazines following this trend include The Australian Women’s Weekly, madison, and Woman’s Day with health and lifestyle sections in each issue; as well as CLEO’s bonus fitness section each month and Cosmopolitan’s ‘body love’ philosophy.

"There is currently a gap in the market for a high production value health magazine that addresses women’s ongoing pursuit for a more balanced lifestyle" said Lynette Phillips, Sales and Publishing Director, Women’s Lifestyle, ACP Magazines.

"Young women are looking for a magazine dedicated to health that they can trust," said Phillips "and this is where Your BODY can dominate, bringing the reader exciting, fresh, modern, easy-to-navigate and, crucially, inspiring content. We have the formula for a health magazine to which women can relate, compared to other titles that take a presumptuous and high ground health approach to their readers."
