Dolly appoints new editor

November 11

ACP Magazines today announced that Tiffany Dunk has been appointed to the role of Editor on DOLLY, Australia’s number one teen title. The appointment of Emma Vidgen to Editor of DOLLY’s one-shot division has also been announced.

These key editorial appointments reflect the ongoing investment ACP Magazines is making in the most read young women’s magazine in the country. Dunk’s appointment will bring a fresh direction for the young women’s bible and both she and Vidgen will report to and work closely with Bronwyn McCahon, DOLLY’s Editorial Director to ensure the titles continued success on the newsstand and with advertisers.

Dunk began her magazine career at CLEO, before moving on to celebrity weekly NW where she spent seven years as Entertainment Editor. She is currently Deputy Editor at TV WEEK and has been with ACP Magazines for 14 years.

"DOLLY played a huge part in my teenage years and it’s always been a dream to work on the magazine. I’m incredibly excited to be joining the team," said Dunk.

Vidgen began her career as Editorial Coordinator at Cosmopolitan magazine more than six years ago, before being promoted to the features desk. In 2008 she took up the post of Deputy Editor of DOLLY, a role she will continue to perform alongside her editorship on the one-shot division which currently includes DOLLY Quiz book and DOLLY Diary.

"I’m thrilled to be overseeing the extension of the DOLLY brand and look forward to working closely with Tiffany on some exciting DOLLY projects in the New Year," said Vidgen.

McCahon said: "Tiffany’s experience and vast entertainment background will be a huge asset to DOLLY. Combined with Emma’s comprehensive understanding of the teen market, 2010 is set to be an exceptional year for DOLLY."
